Phil Hall - Illustrator
Phil studied at Middlesex University where he was awarded a BA first class honors degree in illustration. He then went on to gain an MA with distinction in illustration at Central St Martins College in 05, where he developed his diverse and unique work. He’s varying level of line; shape and colour blended with his observational mark making highlights a whole range of visual hierarchy. Combined with a playful and occasional dry humour, Phil’s work makes for dynamic and contemporary illustrations.
Phil has great passion for what he does, and we’re certain that not only are his pictures able to push illustration to what it does best, encourage the viewer to think, but is also underpinned by creative ideas that solve problems.
Phil is always looking to work on new ideas. From self-initiated work, to editorial pieces for the likes of The Guardian’s g2.u
