Ryan Allen is CEO of the VME Productions Group and Managing Director of VME Management and VME Productions, which were both founded in February 2007. He attended the University of Central England in Birmingham, now renamed as Birmingham City University, where he studied Fine Art and Television/Film Production for 4 years, where he achieved his BA Honours degree in Visual Communication. Ryan’s roles in the Industry have included; Stage Management; working at BBC Pebble Mill on a variety of Broadcast and Television productions as a former researcher and cameramen; including 2 day-time TV programmes (BBC Real Rooms and BBC House Call).
Ryan is a consummate professional with a corporate business background, extensive connections and creative head, these elements have positioned him well for the VME Production Company. Ryan and his team have a wealth of practical experience all of whom share a common goal and vision to adapt with the times and solve creative production ideas with fast delivery and quality. True Excellence comes out of team work, hard work, vision, listening, adapting and transparency which are crucial and part of the VME Productions philosophy.

Rick is an award winning Producer/Director/Writer with an extensive background in factual production and considerable experience in working in overseas locations.
Rick Bayles (ex APTN - formerly Worldwide Television News, where he was Manager of the Commercial Productions Department) has worked in video production for a number of years. Originally involved with music broadcast projects for the UK’s Channel 4, he moved on to produce and direct documentary and current affairs projects both in the UK and overseas.
Rick has been freelancing as a Producer/Writer/Director since 2002.
Recent projects have included Senior Producer/Series Editor on Research-TV, a news features service promoting British University research to international broadcasters using both traditional and new media outlets and a six month contract with international Broadcast PR specialists Medialink, heading up their Production Department during a difficult transition period.
Other recent work has includes producing and directing programme inserts for CBC, The Discovery Channel and NHK; information films for the World Health Organisation, broadcast media training for Time Magazine journalists and assignments for a number of leading international communications agencies. Rick is also a voting member with BAFTA.
Immediately prior to his freelance work Rick was Director of Production at Phoenix TV, a small production company specialising in factual work for the overseas market.

During his career as a Director of Photography with more than 15 years under his belt, Lee has managed a recording studio, run a successful production company, directed over 60 programmes for broadcast, and production-managed many projects and events.
Now working almost exclusively as lighting-cameraman, Lee’s experience includes credits on a wide variety of broadcast, corporate and advertising productions - also involving work abroad in Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Holland, Turkey, Mauritius, Thailand and Japan. Usual work includes documentaries, features and promotional work for broadcast, along with corporate programmes for the top production houses. First choice cameraman / photographer for many production companies and directors, Lee has nurtured a solid client base that expects only the finest of images from an experienced professional.
Recent credits include a high profile promotional video for the “Japan Rugby 2011 World Cup Bid,” a holiday programme in Mauritius, and a series of short dramatic pieces for a corporate.
Broadcast credits include amongst others, “Watchdog,” “Eastenders Revealed,” “Drivers from Hell,” and shoots for “Celebrity Fitness Club,” “Rich and Famous” and “Property Show” BBC’s “End of Story” with Alexei Sayle, and a prime time documentary for Channel 4, “Inside the Mind of Tony Blair.” Features also include several pieces for “Newsnight,” and I’m a popular cameraman for special feature programmes on ZDF and Skai.
Lee has shot for a host of prime-time, light entertainment and factual programmes for all of the main broadcasters and some of my work has been submitted for an IVCA award. Lee’s work is truly outstanding and his relaxed approach to every project and effortless and seamless attention to detail is first class.

VME Productions have an in-house music composer, ‘Jerome’ (Suk Jin Chang) who is formally trained in music composition and has many years of experience producing music for features. Jerome is due to gain his doctorate in composition and has been appointed Head of Music Composition for VME Productions, having studied at prestigious music schools. Jerome gained his 1st Masters of Composition at the Korean National University of Arts; 2nd Masters of composition at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and 3rd Masters of composition for Film & TV at the London College of Music & Media, with Dr. Laurence Roman.

VME Film Studio is the film making division under the VME Production Company and is the brand new independent and international film production company. VME Film Studio are currently collaborating with International film organizations, to build a new studio with combined effort to create ground breaking films. These organizations span as far as the United States to Italy to Australia.
